Here is what's new
Because of work and laziness, I didn't have time to work on the car for a loooooong time. However as of 12/08/02 I'm back on track. First order of business was to complete the disc brake conversion so that the car could be driven from point A to point B without using deep sea anchors for brakes.
Thanks to EBAY I have managed to get a complete set of disc brakes for the car but as expected the conversion kit came with parts missing and the plumbing had to be fabricated from scratch. Not a hill for a climber eh ? Right ! I spent almost half of what I have paid for the kit just to get the two feed lines and their banjo bolts fabricated. Now it's time to do the hydraulic
e-brake conversion. I have all necessary hardware, I'll be using wilwood remote master cylinder and brake proportioning valve.

Here's what's in the agenda
RIM is over, I ended up codriving for a very funny and equally nice guy, John Nelson. We had a blast and won PGT title for both club rallies and the prorally, we had our fair (or unfair) share of mishaps, such as losing all our driving lihts at the second stage of the night and losing our clutch for the last 5 stages.
It was rather stressful not knowing whether the clutch would hold up till the end of the rally, but it did and we won and that's all I have to say about it.

Here is how the rear brakes and suspension turned out
